Our Courses

IMI offers three distinct and unique courses for investors and traders:

All of our courses are one-on-one mentoring. We have no group courses. We believe that people can read all the books in the world but typically they need the personalized attention of a mentoring program to really internalize and actualize the information they learn.

Courtney Smith wrote books and articles and gave speeches and seminars for years but never felt that people were getting the true value of his teachings. So he decided that the best way to ensure that people were getting the maxmimum out of his teachings was to create a mentoring program. That way, clients would be able to truly get the follow through that would ensure a high retention of information and concepts and, hopefully, the highest profit.

All of the content of the courses has been designed by Mr. Smith based on academic research and real world experience.

The first thing that happens when a client signs up is that we send them a questionnaire. They are asked about some basic information such as how much time they have, what is the best time to call, and so on.

The second part of the questionnaire is devoted to questions about that person's psychology. IMI believes that the most important factor for investment success is the psychology of investing, followed by risk management, and ending with the actual entry and exit techniques. A lot of our mentoring programs are devoted to the psychology of investing.

Mr. Smith then sits down with the completed questionnaire and uses that information to interview you to determine what the best program would be just for you. We design every program for that specific client, not for a roomful of clients.

This design is then passed to other staff. Mr. Smith as well as other mentors then start the mentoring process with you. There are 20 sessions of 30 minutes to an hour in length for each program. The sessions are typically scheduled for one to three per week at times convenient for you.

After you graduate, we schedule a followup session three months in the future where we can make sure that you are a successful investor.
