Courtney D. Smith

Courtney Smith is currently President and Chief Investment Officer of Courtney Smith & Co, Inc. which manages accounts for institutions, family offices, and high-net worth individuals.

He was the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Strategist of Orbitex Management, Inc. during the late 1990's. Orbitex manages mutual funds and portfolios for institutions and individuals.

He was the editor of Courtney Smith's Wall Street Winners newsletter. This popular investment advisory newsletter was ranked number one in performance by the Hulbert Digest.

Mr. Smith is the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Commodity Trading Consumer Research (CTCR). CTCR is the premier tracking service for the futures industry as well as the most prestigious publication for futures trading insights. CTCR has been providing insights to the futures community since 1983.

Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Financial Services, Inc., a futures and stock brokerage firm. Mr. Smith was First Vice President and Treasurer of the New York branch of Banca della Svizzera Italiana (BSI), a Swiss bank. At BSI, Mr. Smith managed mutual funds, client accounts, and was responsible for the trading activities of the New York branch as well as trading and marketing fixed income and foreign exchange derivatives for the entire bank. He was also responsible for the funding and balance sheet of the branch.

Mr. Smith was previously Group Vice President in charge of Financial Derivatives at the French bank Banque Paribas, New York, and was Vice President and a Director of Research and Commercial Services for PaineWebber, Inc. Mr. Smith managed client accounts prior to joining PaineWebber.

Mr. Smith is the author of six books, including Profits Through Seasonal Trading, (John Wiley & Sons, 1980), Commodity Spreads (John Wiley & Sons, 1981 and Traders Press, 1989), How To Make Money In Stock Index Futures (McGraw-Hill, 1985, paperback edition 1988), Seasonal Charts For Futures Traders (John Wiley & Sons, 1987), and Option Strategies (John Wiley & Sons, 1987, 2nd Edition 1996). Mr. Smith is also the author of chapters in several books.

He is on the board of directors of several unaffiliated corporations. Mr. Smith has been a featured speaker at investment conferences throughout North America and Europe. He has appeared on over 1000 TV shows including such national television shows as Wall Street Journal Report, and Moneyline as well as other shows on CNBC, Fox News, Bloomberg, CNN, and CNNfn. He is a featured guest on CNBC.


Reuben L. Sushman

Mr. Sushman has been an investor, educator, and trading trainer for more than eighteen years. He is presently teaching fixed income, futures, and options at New York University's School of Taxation, Finance, and Law. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Hofstra University.

Mr. Sushman is the past President of Empire Futures LLC, an Introductory Broker and Commodity Trading Advisor which focuses on hedging, trading, and offers a managed futures program. He specialized in trading futures, options and other derivative instruments primarily in interest rate, currency and crude complex products, and utilized bond and derivative risk management methodologies. Empire Futures LLC serves high net worth, institutional and corporate investors.

He is also the Managing Director of Northern Capital Securities, a northeast-based institutional securities firm whose focus is on fixed income, structured products, swaps and derivatives.

Mr. Sushman was formerly the Senior Vice President of the Institutional Group for Pinnacle Asset Management, a New York firm providing asset management, trading, and financial advisory services to corporate, institutional and high net worth clientele, both domestic and foreign. At Pinnacle Mr. Sushman was responsible for managing more than US $50 million in assets.

He has also served in executive capacities with a variety of well known New York financial firms, including Morgan Stanley, Salomon Smith Barney, Wachovia Securities, Oppenheimer & Co., and Marsh Block & Co. He holds an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.


Gregory D. Timmins

Mr. Timmins is an experienced equity trader with Silver Knight Trading, where he is responsible for trading NASDAQ stocks for both proprietary and individual retail accounts.

He was formerly the manager of the San Diego, CA and Atlanta, GA daytrading offices for All-Tech Investment Group, Inc., where he was responsible for opening/closing the offices, generating daily reports, resolving margin calls, and resolving technical/system issues. He also served as a seminar and classroom instructor.

Mr. Timmins is the former Chief Financial Officer of Nanotechnology Development Corp, where he conducted an online offering to raise start-up capital for the company.

He began his career in the financial services sector more than a decade ago at the Monroe Parker Securities and May Davis Group, where he was a sales representative responsible for acquiring and maintaining customer accounts. Previous to that he served four years in the United States Air Force.


Howard Kipness

Mr. Kipness is a personal financial planner who founded and managed Foresight Planning Associates, Inc., a private corporation that designs and implements investment, retirement and estate planning solutions. As the principal investment officer he researched and recommended innovative investment strategies for wealthy individuals.

Mr. Kipness' career includes major brokerage house experience. At the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Dain Rauscher, as the key member of 2 teams with assets under management in excess of $500 million, he evaluated and recommended investment portfolios that compliment clients' risk tolerance and suitability profiles with returns consistently above benchmarks.

Mr. Kipness began working in corporate finance after graduating from Rutgers School of Business with an MBA in personal finance. He was an executive for many years at Macy's, Carlson Companies, Halston Fragrances and a multi-state real estate developer, currently a division of Centex Homes.


James E. Davidson

Jim Davidson is currently the managing director and chief executive officer of EZEZ, SA, a company which buys gold wholesale and sells it retail, provides consulting services, and runs a private stock exchange.

Mr. Davidson is also the author of The Indomitus Report, which provides investors with information on companies in gold mining, gold exploration, uranium exploration, space technology, and nanotechnology companies.

He was previously president of Gold Barter Holdings from 2002 through 2003 during which time he brought the company to profitability. He co-founded and managed Interglobal Paratronics and Space Travel Services during the 1990s.

His work in real estate has involved planning and development of tens of millions of dollars of property on two continents. His work in consulting has involved planning and financing businesses with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues.

Mr. Davidson received an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Administration of Rice University in Houston, Texas in May 1987. During his time at Rice, he was on the dean's list, served as an intern at Space Services Incorporated of America, and co-founded Rice University Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. After graduating, he worked for Space Services alongside former Apollo-Soyuz astronaut Deke Slayton and David Hannah, Jr., developing proposals for the first licensed commercial launch vehicles. Seven rockets were sold as a result of these proposals in contracts worth nearly $10 million.

Prior to his work at Rice, Mr. Davidson was a John Jay Scholar at Columbia College of Columbia University in New York City. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in American History with minor studies in economics and astrophysics in May 1985. During his time at Columbia he was weekend shift supervisor for a bank's lockbox operation in Midtown Manhattan and later in Secaucus, New Jersey. His work for the bank involved supervising a crew of 13 check processing clerks and responsibility for $45 million in funds per shift.

He arrived at Columbia as a National Merit Scholar, with a scholarship from the National Distillers Association. He was also named a Kansas Scholar and valedictory speaker at his high school, where he participated in theater, was president of the debate team, and studied French at the local college.

His published works include many essays on space topics published in Space News, Final Frontier Magazine, and various newspapers. Mr. Davidson has also published poems, a short story, and a book on the constitution of a new country, The Atlantis Papers.

A world traveler, Mr. Davidson has visited countries in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Polynesia, and North America.
